About the Show

The Tain Highland Gathering, sponsored by Glenmorangie, is set to take place on Sunday, 10 August 2025 at Glenmorangie Ground, located just north of Tain on the A9. This traditional Highland event celebrates the rich culture and heritage of the region. 

Attractions

The gathering will feature a variety of events, including Highland dancing, piping, track and field competitions, cycling, and the iconic heavy events. Local events will commence at 11:00 am, followed by open events starting at 2:00 pm.  In addition to the competitions, visitors can enjoy a funfair and a farming education tent, making it a perfect day out for all ages.

Admission is £10 for adults, £5 for school children, and free for toddlers. A family ticket for two adults and two children, including parking, is available for £30. Car parking is £5, and programmes are free.
